Portland Junction is a part of the MayPort Farmers Co-Op. Portland, Junction, Portland Bean and Mayville Farmers Co-Op Elevator joined forces in 1994 to become MayPort Farmers Co-Op.

History
The MayPort Farmers Co-op came into existence Feb. 1, 1994, with the consolidation of the Portland Junction Grain Company, Farmers Co-op Elevator Company of Mayville, and Portland Farmers Co-op. The three original co-ops had served their patrons since the early 1900s. The consolidation of three viable companies provides a strong financial base and a sizable market area for stability and growth.

MayPort Farmers Co-op has 26 full- and part-time employees in three divisions: The edible bean division, and grain division. General offices are located at 716 Madison Street, Portland.
